015: Diff and Clutch Swap.

Not feeling that great, but still gotta 'do werk.'
















Dropped the exhaust and snapped an extension at the header.
Swapped the diff to an LSD 3.73 from the open 3.64.
Did I mention I was sick?

Here was the problem with engagement, at least, part of the problem:














So Friday afternoon I needed to go get the flywheel resurfaced. After hearing the machinist was at lunch, I left the flywheel. I wanted to have it lightened at well. Two hours later, I decided to call them to see what was up. Come to find out that it was passed the minimum thickness. What does that mean? It means a $400 bill for a new flywheel. One of two in the USA, shipped from California.















Yeah, that's the old one that everyone signed. It's in my room now. I'll always remember the mistake of buying an e30. At least, that's what my parents say.

And finally, actually doing the hard work. Dave helping out and Dylan giving moral support.














Clutch job turned from less than $500 to about $800. I think I'm going to stop counting costs.
