Went to the track. It was hooking so good that I broke something.
Rolling into the throttle at the water box, did a quick burnout, and lined up at the tree. Revved it to 3k, expecting not to hook, and just DUMPED the clutch. It hooked, it hooked so good that something broke. My heart sunk and I knew I was going to be getting a tow home.
After pushing the car back past the start lines, the tree operator thought I had jumped timing.
Long story short, he was right. The rotor button had split and was not at the correct advance. Here's a photo:
