Earlier today after working on the car, I couldn't feel my fingers. You know how it is... 35 degrees + wind and 15 minutes later you don't know if your fingers have been brutally mangled ...yet. Of course, when working on cars, they always emerged with scrapes and cuts from god knows where. ANYWAY, I replaced plugs before, so the only thing left was the rest of the ignition system. Well, I did most of it. Cap, rotor and wires were all done today. Idle is a bit smoother, but because of a vac leak near the idle air controller, it sounds like it's cammed or something. Just fluctuation at idle.
Replaced the tail light, so that pretty much made me realize how the left one was very old. I probably shouldn't have replaced it, but it does look a lot better. I can tell myself it was for inspection only, but it does look a lot better. I hope to get the car registered soon and give it a nice wash. Even a rinse would be a tremendous difference.
I ended up buying a door hinge for no reason apparently -- when I was replacing the rear tail light, I found a door hinge after I removed the trim and spare fluids by the tail light. Ugh. Whatever. I should have fixed the moisture leak with the tail light gasket. If it isn't fixed, I'll replace the left side gasket.
I think that's about it. Reverse switch soon?
